I was not able to watch the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony but I found these amazing photos online and it is so beautiful. Enjoy! I read that the Americans were angered when NBC who has exclusive rights to broadcast the Olympics delayed the telecast 12 hours later. The 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony will be held today, August 08, 2008 at exactly 8:08 in the evening. The Chinese believes in the lucky number “8″ that is why they have scheduled the start of the opening ceremony at that time which will air on NBC from 6:30 pm until 11 in the evening (all times CST). Beijing, China is about 13 hours ahead of US Central time.
