H and I watched The Incredible Hulk 2008 at NCCC Mall Cinema Thursday last week. It was an instant decision to watch it when we called the cinema for the schedule since the NCCC web site is not yet updated. For me the movie was good enough though I say there are some loop holes and incredible scenes. It was more of visual and sound effects. We enjoyed the movie and did not regret watching it so we can at least relax from our daily routine.
I like the bonus teaser at the end of the movie because Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) appeared at the bar where Gen. Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross was drinking. There must be some alliance sparking up somewhere. Hmmm I can’t wait to see what Marvel Studios have in store aside from the Iron Man Sequel after the success of the Iron Man.
And just a little trivia of the movie, Read more »»»

Finally we were able to watch Iron Man last Tuesday at NCCC Mall cinema 2. It was a good enough movie for me but somehow predictable. Gwyneth Paltrow who played Virginia “Pepper” Potts, the ever reliable assistant of Tony Spark (Downey), had an easy role and as for Jeff Bridges the Iron Monger Obadiah Stane, I did not recognize him if H did not mention his name. He is fat and bald. The last time I saw him in a movie or on TV, he obviously did not look like that and that was ages ago. Robert Downey Jr.’s movie was a blockbuster and bouyed by its success, the Marvel Studios has already planned for the Iron Man sequel for April 2010. We somehow thought so since before the movie began there was a very short clip of Robert Downey and Samuel Jackson implying a sequel to the movie. Iron Man now ranks as the 2nd biggest US debut ever for a non-sequel movie at $US98.6 million ($104 million) while Spider Man is in the number one spot with $US114.8 million. The top movie opening of all time is Spider Man 3 at $151 million in US and Canada ticket sales in its first weekend in May 2007. Well H is looking forward to the sequel and so I hope that it would be better and has more story in it than the first.
