This is the so-called Durian Dome on top of the 425-square meter visitors’ center near the entrance of the four-hectare People’s Park found in the heart of Davao City. This is found in front of the Open Plaza which has a walk-through rainbow colored drive from the entrance to the exit of the park. This used to be the PTA Grounds which was transformed into the P72M park that it is now. If you are in Davao, this park is must in the places you should see.

For my Photo Hunt entry for this week’s theme – SELF, I chose this photo of mySELF and my baby when we were at People’s Park almost two weeks ago and this has a little twist coz it was a stolen shot of us by my hubby as we were both looking at something in our left side which I can not remember what we were looking at and I was not aware that our son was also looking that way. To add a little drama to this photo, I made it into monochrome or basically black and white. Our background is one of the group of sculptures you can find in this park in th heart of Davao City which represents the indigenous people of Southern Mindanao.
