This is my very own family – hubby and our son CT. This photo was taken a few days ago at the Basilica del Sto. Nino in Cebu during our out of town trip and mini vacation there. This week’s PhotoHunt theme is METAL and I think I have just found my entry with this photo taken at the church Our Lady of Lourdes Parish which is still ongoing construction. When you look up, you can still see the metal frame holding the roof. It is basically still a skeleton seeing these metals bare on the roof. Sometimes my dad would go there to check out the construction and he wanted to go up there to help. I would joke with dad that maybe he would need a stair lift to get up there. So that it won’t be too risky to fall. Good for the younger and stronger construction people who are used to getting up there as it is their job. It is a work in progress with the help from most of the parishioners. The construction started last year and it is amazing and the parish priest would call it a miracle for the funds raised to pay off the debts from the hardwares where the materials were bought which have amounted to more than a million pesos. The land where this church is standing is partly donated by NHA through the kindness of President GMA.
