After Amercian Idol, the people in the house has a new following on Pinoy Idol hosted by Raymond Gutierrez at GMA 7 and has Karylle as co-host. This is not the same nor the 2nd season of the Philippine Idol of ABC 5 where Maureen “Mau” Marcelo won. I thought it was one and the same. ABC 5 was supposed to hold the 2nd season but since they got problems with sponsorship during the first season despite the show being followed by many people. Anyway, GMA got the franchise after Fremantle Media finally decided to grant them the franchise.
