We will be going to Cebu tomorrow first flight for a week long family vacation sort of. And guess what I am excited about aside from the Sinulog Festival 2009? This one pizza restaurant in Ayala Cebu named Sbarro which we do not have here in Davao yet. Hopefully when Ayala Mall Davao opens here, they have a branch of Sbarro in the mall.

Sinulog Festival 2009 here we come! It is the most colorful and grandest festival in Cebu City, Philippines. Sinulog Grand Parade, the main festival is held every year on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City to honor the Santo Niño, or the child Jesus, who used to be the patron saint of the whole province of Cebu. In the Catholic faith Jesus is not a saint, but God. It is essentially a dance ritual which remembers the Filipino people’s pagan past and their acceptance of Christianity.
