The Jet Plane and the Moon

We were outside the house yesterday afternoon since it a hot day while it was windy outside and my baby would not sleep yet for his afternoon nap. I was taking snap shots here and there when at around 3PM my sis called out to me and pointed out to the sky and we saw this jet plane flying high in the sky, past the moon. It was moving quite fast that I was not able to take a shot while it was still nearer the moon. This plane must be an international flight coz the local/domestic flights usually fly much lower than this. This shot was the closest I got which was at full zoom at 300 using our new Nikon 70-300mm VR lens which we just bought yesterday late afternoon.
You can compare that here with a shot shown below we got of a domestic flight of the Philippine Airlines plane flying over our house. It is this close taken at 300mm zoom. So that international jet plane must be flying real high in the sky. Read more »»»
